Final Individual Cultural Diversity Course Reflection #4
Every culture has its own characteristics which makes it different and unique from the others. Each country has a day to celebrate the national heritage and remind the native population of the ancestors past ..
The best class I have got in this course the Emirate film because I learned what make our culture interested and unique and i learn the most important thing in another cultures . Also i learn about blue and brown eyes video the racism and how its effect with the child. And the teacher do that program to but the idea that the racism is not good .Last beast class the slavery class because before this class I didn’t know how many slavery work for me, and it is good for me to know what, who and how the slavery in our world .The most interesting thing in these course the different between the cultures and how can the culture effect in the country for example when the tourist come to our country they like because our culture is nice . We live in a diverse world, So we have to learn more not just about our own cultures but also other cultures as well .. It is important for other students to learn more about other cultures to develop acknowledgement about it and appreciate other traditional histories.
The best age for students to learn about culture diversity is to start a young age , prep school perhaps ,
Because its a vital matter and the more they get to know about this topic it will characterize their personality so they can be respectful and caring towards others.
If we had the chance to prepare for a harmony day in the Uae , it will be a great opportunity for all the different cultures to unite under one roof .a roof of love , communication, knowledge and appreciation . We will prepare for this day by pulling up each culture's special flag , promote the food they are famous for , their national custom , and give away booklets with extra information about each culture .for fun we might organize a photography booth to keep a memory of this phenomenal day .
I am glad to be taking this diversity course .it added alot to my knowledge and experience , , getting to understand what life is in the perspective of different cultures .
We are equal no matter what nationality religion or origin we hail from ..our actions will determine the future ..

Exercise#10
Exercise 10A:
Modern Slaves Today:
Nowadays, having slaves is something wrong because they are treated in a very bad way from their bosses or as called before owners. People do not respect them, and treat them as discarded people. They lost their dignity because they are abused and work a lot without being thankful or even getting a good salary. They hate their lives because of people's bad treatment. They are human beings like us or even better because they are working better and more than us, so they deserve to live like everyone and get their rights.
Exercise 10B:
UAE Role to stop trafficking:
United Arab Emirates is trying their best to stop human trafficking inside the country and also in the middle east region. It made anti-trafficking law for women, children and workers; which was an important thing that helps to stop trafficking. The anti-trafficking law is focusing on many things like leading and instructing the relevant authorities to be tough on who tries to break the law and also developing the law of human trafficking. UAE is always producing TV programs about the negative impacts of human trafficking. They publish about it to make the society recognize that human trafficking is dangerous and to avoid it as possible as they can.
Exercise 10C:
The ways to fight discrimination:-
A. Jackie Robinson:
He was the first African-American to break the colour barrier. He was the reason that made all the young African- Americans dream of a good and better future. He made them dream of being successful in the future and live their lives equally like the white people. They thought of a future with no racism and prejudice.
B. Rose Parks:
The beginning of Rose Parks in repealing the discrimination was when one day she was using a public transportation bus. This bus was separated into two parts. The first front part of the bus for only thewhite passengers and the second part for the black passengers. On that day, the black passengers part was full so she went to use the white passengers seat. When the driver told her to move, she refused to give up her seat.
